Writing for me has always been a way of expressing myself to myself. Maybe it is because I have never been a real big talker or maybe it is because talking to yourself really isn't accepted as much more than the practice of the clinically insane. Whatever the reason, it works for me. It is only recently that I have begun to share my writing with others.
Even still, I tended to keep things on an intimate level, even the poems I divulged while on The Bachelorette were really intended for only one person. But now I want to reach out a little, use some of the opportunities of my recent history to write for a broader audience, write a book, tell my story, or maybe just tell a story.
