You know him as the fire-fighting athlete who won my heart on a television show. I know, though, that it was not only my heart that was won. Since our engagement on November 12, 2002, Ryan Sutter has proven to me that sometimes you can tell a book by its cover. What you saw on ABC, it was honest. It was real. Although he has his bad days like all of us, he is every bit as romantic as he was portrayed on The Bachelorette.
